Winner, Vernaue, was on Pints of Heiniken, rest of the male field were on Ale. All Beers in male race were over 5% and drank from plastic pint glasses. The race was held under the Queens Rules. We did not impose a pint drinking rule on the female athletes please note this completely non-sexist they we free to do what they wanted and thus opted for strange wee colourful cocktails!
