2018 Malt Shed Wangaratta Beer Mile

Warm, calm conditions greeted the 34 entrants across all events (17 male beer, 6 female beer, Cider Mile, Anything Mile). Temperature was 34 degrees Celsius. Track was measured prior to the race with a calibrated 50m steel tape. Transition zone was measured and all formal rules for an international mile were followed, including measuring the remaining volume in the bottles. this led to the disqualification of the second male across the finish line.
