The 8th annual Beer Mile World Classic held in Leuven, Belgium. There were 13+ countries in attendance with both individual and team titles on the line to crown the 2022 Beer Mile World Champions.
This was the first-ever world championship requiring all competitors to use cans instead of bottles to go back to the roots of the beer mile. Both world record holders, Corey Bellemore and Allison Grace Morgan, competed. The women's field was the deepest ever assembled on the world stage.
