After the Tour de Strand (bar hopping bike race), what better way to cap off a weekend than with the third running of the beermile at Uni High!!!
Inbred Fred returned to Uni High to defend his track record on Saturday in the open format beermile. The competition was tough, with the biggest showing at this venue including a field of schooled veterans as well as some first time chunderers. The beers of choice were as diverse as the runners; Pabst, Corona (no lime), MGD.
There were plenty of firsts on Saturday. It was Titty Bear and First Periods first beermile, it was the first time anyone attempted the beermile with bottles (at Uni High), it was the first time anyone puked at the Uni High track (horses ass) and the first penalty lap awarded (also horses ass). On a related note, it was also the first time Fred ever pitched a softball.
Afterwards, the beermilers went to the local bar for a post race meeting to watch some film, review notes and prepare for the next running (aug 26).
