A natural talent for this event, I ran 5:44.5 the first time ever attempting. Alas, the closest since was a 5:49. I continue to host beer miles 4 times a year: St. Patrick's Day (of course), around July 4th (the 'Murica Beer Mile), around Halloween (the Great Pumpkin Beer Mile), and around Christmas (the Ugly Holiday Sweater Beer Mile).
