Beer Mile: The Film Selected to Premiere at the Paladino D'Oro Sport Film Festival in Sicily

We have some exciting news — Beer Mile: The Film is going to Italy!

We've been selected for premiere at the 44th edition of the Paladino D'Oro Sport Film Festival, a film festival in Palermo, Sicily dedicated to films about sport.

The film festival runs from December 10-15, 2024. There's a fantastic lineup of programming from all around the world, and now the beer mile will make its big screen debut to further the growth of its global audience.

The long-building anticipation for the film's premiere will finally be over, and the film is expected to be publicly available on the Beer Mile Media YouTube channel in late December.

About the Beer Mile Film

Beer Mile: The Film was dreamt up heading into the 2023 Beer Mile World Classic to showcase the personalities of the world's fastest chuggers and runners, plus take viewers behind-the-scenes of one of the world's most exhilarating sports.  Thanks to over 100 backers on Kickstarter, the film became a reality.

And like all great films, there is no shortage of drama, controversy, and extreme emotions.

The film follow's beer mile world record holder, Corey Bellemore, and his historic world record attempt in one shoe. Also featured is Olympian Shelby Houlihan making her beer mile debut amidst a suspension from track and field, creating division amongst beer mile athletes and the community.
