Athletic Brewing, along with Beermile.com, will be hosting the first-ever NA Beer Mile Event on October 17, 2021 in Stratford, CT. The race will be featuring a showdown between beer mile world record holder Corey Bellemore (4:33) of Canada and beer mile American record holder Chris Robertson (4:37).

The race is open to all participants, both in-person and virtual. The in-person races will take place at Bunnell High School Track in Stratford, CT at 12:30pm ET, with the virtual edition of the NA Beer Mile allowing participants to compete wherever they are in the world anytime on October 16-17.

As part of the event, Beermile.com has formalized the official ruleset for the NA Beer Mile. This is a brand new official event on the site, which means the leaderboard is completely open and a new NA Beer Mile World Record Holder will be crowned as part of this event.

Athletic Brewing, Fleet Feet Westport and HOKA will be awarding over $2,500 in cash and prizes! Net proceeds from the event will be donated to the Still I Run organization for mental health awareness.

VIRTUAL RACERS: For those competing virtually, each participant should create their own event to submit their results. In doing so, participants should tag the result to the 'NA Beer Mile' ruleset so the results can be aggregated across all participants.

Step 1) Tap on the 'Add Event' button from the Events page (click on Events in the menu and make sure you are signed into your account or create one if you don't have one yet).

Step 2) When entering your race result, be sure to select the 'NA Beer Mile' as the ruleset.
